Hi, I'm Eric

I’m a junior pursuing a BS in Computer Science and Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University. A software project I really enjoyed was the AI Course Selection Tool. It’s a generative AI-powered tool that helps students choose courses using natural language queries. I worked on this project using PostgreSQL, Text Embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and it was particularly rewarding because it bridges the gap between technology and student support.

I’m taking this course to learn more about how to build and manage successful software projects. I’m especially interested in learning how to work better in teams and improve the quality and performance of software. I’m also excited about the open-source project assignment!

In my free time, I like working out and playing video games. It's a fun way for me to relax and stay healthy.
