@pbortey depends on the instrument! on the piano I play tons of rock covers (Pink Floyd, the Beatles, etc), on the cello only classical though sometimes I do covers of film scores, and on guitar mostly rock

@npgarg Honestly, the hardest part of RSA was finding a way to split the message into blocks that could be represented as a number of arbitrary size since the message length could be arbitrarily long. It required some tricky usage of gcds and padding to ensure proper message length. As for kiltie, the band itself is not too big of a time commitment so it doesn't require much balancing.

As part of CMU BTG we worked on creating an app called opengym which is an app that tracks the crowdedness levels of the gym's at CMU. I am taking this course because it is a requirement for IS and because I hope to experiment and apply the skills I have learned at CMU so far on more practical software engineering work. I don't have much experience in developing large-ish software product, but as I was interning at Amazon last summer, I was tasked with writing many tests to ensure the correctness of code of my team members. Additionally, I also learned about designing and implementing metrics and alarms for different components of the project. I enjoyed working there as I feel like I learned A LOT just in 3 months and also feel good contributing to a real world project as my team was actually going to launch the project for the customers.
