- My name is Michelle
- During an internship at Google last summer, I improved the testing infrastructure for Docs, Sheets, and Slides. I added automated accessibility and internationalization tests to enable more bugs to be caught during development, before QA.
- I am taking this course as the coverage requirement for ECE. Additionally, I want to better prepare for what I will encounter in industry after graduating this semester.
- In my free time, I love drawing, painting, and playing the violin

Your experience sounds really interesting to me, were you nervous in the beginning knowing you will be working at a big company? I assumed that you needed to write design docs or something similar prior to implementing the actual tests right? Do you have any tips that you learned to better start off? I personally found design test cases the most difficult stage ever!

Electric guitarist here. I love that you play an instrument!
How long have you been playing the violin? What kind of music do you like to play or listen to? -
@mythut I did write a design doc- one of the things I did while starting it was figuring out which people in the company were experts on certain internal tools or areas of the codebase and asking them questions to get the lay of the land. The doc took a while to finalize since some of the engineers who reviewed it had conflicting opinions with each other so there was a lot of back and forth. Eventually I just had to use my best judgement to pick a path in order to move forward.

I like playing music from the Romantic and Modern periods, and I like listening to artists like Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, and Renee Rapp. How about you?
I've been playing for 3 years, mostly Nirvana and Green Day songs. I'm a big fan of 90s alternative rock, 80s classic rock, and occasionally some heavy metal.
